I am a second year Ph.D. student in the College of Computing at Georgia Institute of Technology. My advisor is Henrik I. Christensen.

Prior to entering the doctoral program, I received my Bachelors degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Estado de México.

My research interests are in the areas of mobile robots autonomous navigation, simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) in outdoor and indoor environments, semantic mapping, optimal motion planning and computer vision (computation of visual correspondence, object recognition, detection and tracking).
